So is the "up to 50 cp" be in addition to the 50 cp awarded prior to game 1 for the expectation that players will write histories?

no. CP awarded to Players at our first event who submit a Character History will be awarded 50 - no more no less (providing it is submitted by the end of this year). Players who were not at the first event and submit Character Histories will be awarded the up to 50 CP amount. But for asking AND being you - 87 dp!

Good question! Most of the sleepers did not physically age to any significant degree. The character's personal "Age" is based on the lifespan of the race, not the amount of time that had elapsed in The World.
