The Town of Wayfare would like to post this message on the boards, we have been visited by travelers and survivors many times asking to learn how to fight and how to survive in the world, we have been training those who visit our town and we have been training with the church of bellicose to become better fighters ourselves. We have learned from our enemies, our allies, and from those we fight honorable wars against.Â
As Champion of Wayfare, given permission by our leader Lady Aster, I present to you a list of some basic battle behavior to assist all trying to defend their homes or those they love.
-Be Respectful to those that respect you
-Keep all taunting witty and appropriateÂ
-Keep talking down to a minimum unless its relevant to the battle
-Refrain from needlessly shoutingÂ
-Hold the line
-Try flanking
-Try surrounding them
-Try creating an effective distraction behind the line
-Watch your step
-Be aware of your surroundings
-Don't go too far from the line
-Don't be a hero
-Don't die
-Don't turn your back to the enemyÂ
-Fight defensively first, if you survive you win
-Always regroup after a fight
-Always be alert and ready to rally
-Use the terrain to your advantageÂ
-Stay hydrated
-Don't leave your allies to die
-Always make sure the enemy is dead
-Always search the enemy for loot
-Always make sure your allies are alive and moving
-Always share the spoils of battle with your allies
-Always listen to your superior's orders
-Never underestimate the enemy
-Never overestimate your allies
-Take notes about the enemy
-Move injured allies to safe areas so others can help them
-Collect spell components to one central area
-Collect lost arrows, armor, shields, and weapons to one central area
-Keep an eye out for enemies trying to flank your allies
-If your vitality is strong, perhaps consider using your ability to empathetically heal
-Potions are always effective, have one around your neck in case of emergencies
